A Perfect Place is a short film directed by Derrick Scocchera,
scored by Mike Patton. Starring Mark Boone Junior (Batman
Begins, Trees Lounge) and Bill Moseley (The Devil's Rejects),
photographed in B&W Panavision by Hiro Narita, ASC (Never Cry
Wolf), it is a neo-noir tragi-comedy revolving around a pair of
bumbling friends trying to dispose of a corpse.
While some of the music is orchestrative in its nature, in classic
Patton style there's an infusion of genres blending pop and
ragtime balladry. Shades of Ennio Morricone, John Barry and
Fantomas combine with a smoky, suitably cinematic ambience.
Derrick Scocchera is a director and screenwriter and the cofounder
of Fantoma Films, a San Francisco based production
company and independent DVD label. Founded in 1997, Fantoma
Films has become one of the leading producers of Special Edition
DVDs. With a focus on filmmakers with a distinctive style and
vision, the Fantoma catalog consists of films by such famed
auteurs as Fritz Lang, Francis Ford Coppola, Rainer Werner
Fassbinder, Samuel Fuller, Mario Bava and Alex Cox among
others. Scocchera's next project is the feature film Florida which
he wrote and will also direct.
Mike Patton is the man of a thousand bands, including the late Mr.
Bungle and Faith No More, and currently of Peeping Tom,
Fantomas, Mondo Cane, Tomahawk, Crudo... the list goes on.
Patton penned the score for A Perfect Place, which is double in
length as the film (he says, “I got excited” when asked why). The
score marks a milestone for Patton who has been regaled in music
circles for years but now delves into the world of film. Patton also
recently provided voices for all the creatures in the Will Smith
blockbuster I Am Legend, as well as lending his vocals to a host of
video games including The Darkness, The Portal, Bionic
Commando and Left 4 Dead.

нах такой праздник, тем более что стоить будет точняком полную цену альбома. Помню Locust брал 12 минут а стоил как будто полный.

decade but their releases have been generally hard to
find on U.S. shores, or elsewhere in Europe for that
matter.
Those who have been lucky enough to hear the outfit

last release came in 2000 and according to the band the
title was never released, a secret amongst them and the

никак не могу понять ... что-то в ней есть ...
офигенное интонация и очень озорнический такой тон и манера в словах Never Gonna Break ...
Умеет всё таки он сделать что-то такое ... кхм ... ну как сказать ... вот каким то едва уловимым движением, которое ты не замечаешь глазами, но чувствуешь где-то теплом в позвоночнике ...

Единственный перерыв был пока на просмотр "Я - Легенда", где крысы-вампиры визжат в стиле Фантомас ;))

В этой строчке _You can brake another baк [?] low_ точно косяк. Скорее там что-то If you brave ..... low.

Мне лично очень понравился, единственный минус лично для меня... ето радио, надо посмотреть фильм может оно действительно оправдано там а так в целом альбом бомба, смесь Director Cuts, Kaada и временами
где то даже Mr Bungle . В общем я дико доволен, давно не радовал отец.
